Totally Screwed Up, Inc. Is Proud to Partner With Cassidy Malave For His "Dream Scapes" Movie Premiere
Dream Scapes Premier
Thursday, May 30, 2019
2:30 - 4:00 PM
Lindenwold High School Auditorium
Cassidy Malave is a senior at Lindenwold High School in Lindenwold New Jersey. He was approached by his former English teacher about joining a class called, Senior Project. The course would require Cassidy to work on a project for the entire year, and then present his work at the end of the year. "Dream Scapes" is Cassidy's Senior Project.
Inspired by the movie, The Wall, a movie made around the Pink Floyd album of the same name. After brainstorming for a week and script writing for a week, Cassidy produced a script that he was so proud of that he couldn't wait to begin filming. For the past eight months, Cassidy has been working on Dream Scapes and getting it ready to share with the world.
Why are Totally Screwed Up, Inc., and Cassidy teaming up? Because three years ago, Cassidy received a spinal fusion to correct a 103-degree curve. Cassidy received his spinal fusion from Shriner's Hospital For Children - Philadelphia free of charge; which was a huge blessing for him and his family. He understands how scary and stressful that the experience can be for those going through surgery, so he wants to give back to the hospital that helped him, and the families in similar situations. All of the proceeds from the Dream Scape tickets and the 50/50 raffle at the premier, will go to Totally Screwed Up Inc., and will be specifically designated for pre-surgery gift baskets for Shriner's patients.
